ABOUT
“SPARKY”

Sparky started his racing career with his brother Carl "Corners" Raeburn, in 1993. As part of "Corners" pit crew in Hammond river, and NBIS the team won the inaugural Sportsman season at NBIS. In 1995 Mike went on to pit for Apples Paley along with Dusty Mcloed. After three good years with Apples, Mike purchased the car from Apples.
In the begining the team was happy just to finish a race. After surviving the first year in Shediac the track closed so the team moved to Riverglade for a season, after getting some great experience with the wall the team moved back to Shediac for the last three years.
In 2005 Sparky sold his Sportsman car and move into the AOW series, this year we will be running full time in the AOW series.
In 2009, Sparky reached the pinnacle of the AOW series, winning the Championship.
